 The "നാടക കളരി" workshop was conducted on 5th March 2025 at Valsalamma Memorial Hall, under the guidance of the talented resource person, Sini ma'am . The workshop was designed to introduce participants to the rich tradition of drama in Kerala, with a particular focus on its connection to the region's cultural heritage.The session began with an introduction to the art form, exploring its evolution and significance in Malayalam literature and performing arts. Sini ma'am expertise in the field allowed participants to engage deeply with both theoretical and practical elements of theater.Participants were exposed to a variety of exercises, including body movements, voice modulation techniques, and improvisation, all of which are essential components of performance art. The interactive nature of the workshop allowed attendees to get hands-on experience in enacting small skits, honing their acting and communication skills.Sini Ma'am also emphasized the role of theater in self-expression and how it can be used as a medium to reflect social issues and create awareness among audiences. The attendees, ranging from students to aspiring actors, appreciated the structured format of the workshop, which catered to both beginners and more experienced performers.The workshop concluded with a brief feedback session, where participants shared their learnings and expressed gratitude for the opportunity to gain insights into the world of drama. The venue, Valsalamma Memorial Hall, provided an excellent atmosphere conducive to learning, with ample space for the various activities conducted throughout the day.Overall, the "നാടക കളരി" workshop was a resounding success, inspiring participants to further explore the world of theater and apply the skills they acquired in future performances.

  The field trip to Kanyakumari was an enriching and memorable experience for all the students, offering a perfect blend of education and exploration. Known as the southernmost tip of mainland India, Kanyakumari captivated us with its stunning natural beauty, cultural significance, and historical landmarks. We visited iconic sites such as the Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Thiruvalluvar Statue, and the confluence of the three seas—Bay of Bengal, Arabian Sea, and Indian Ocean. The trip provided valuable insights into geography, history, and local traditions, while also strengthening the bond among students through shared experiences. It was not just a journey of learning but also one of inspiration and discovery.

ENGLISH ASSOCIATION INAUGURATION

  English Association Inauguration Ceremony @RVTC, Valakom was held on 16th October. The English Association Inauguration Ceremony at our college was a vibrant and intellectually enriching event that marked the beginning of a new academic year for the Department of English. The ceremony commenced with a warm welcome and the traditional lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the dispelling of ignorance and the pursuit of knowledge. The Principal delivered an inspiring presidential address, followed by the inaugural speech the logo presentation was done by her, after the formal inaugural session there held an interactive game session by our English department students  .
