Anti Drug Day

 RVTC Valakom Teacher Trainees has celebrated Anti Drug Day on 21.06.2025. An Anti-Drug Day Celebration was conducted through Google Meet with active participation from students, teachers, and invited guests. The online event began with a welcome speech followed by an informative presentation highlighting the harmful effects of drug abuse and the importance of living a healthy, drug-free life. Resource persons delivered inspiring talks that emphasized the role of youth in creating a drug-free society. Students also showcased posters and shared slogans to spread awareness. The session concluded with a pledge against drug use and a vote of thanks. The virtual gathering was both impactful and enlightening, encouraging collective responsibility towards a drug-free future.

  The field trip to Kanyakumari was an enriching and memorable experience for all the students, offering a perfect blend of education and exploration. Known as the southernmost tip of mainland India, Kanyakumari captivated us with its stunning natural beauty, cultural significance, and historical landmarks. We visited iconic sites such as the Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Thiruvalluvar Statue, and the confluence of the three seas—Bay of Bengal, Arabian Sea, and Indian Ocean. The trip provided valuable insights into geography, history, and local traditions, while also strengthening the bond among students through shared experiences. It was not just a journey of learning but also one of inspiration and discovery.

ENGLISH ASSOCIATION INAUGURATION

  English Association Inauguration Ceremony @RVTC, Valakom was held on 16th October. The English Association Inauguration Ceremony at our college was a vibrant and intellectually enriching event that marked the beginning of a new academic year for the Department of English. The ceremony commenced with a warm welcome and the traditional lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the dispelling of ignorance and the pursuit of knowledge. The Principal delivered an inspiring presidential address, followed by the inaugural speech the logo presentation was done by her, after the formal inaugural session there held an interactive game session by our English department students  .
