Second Phase of Teaching Practice

1) The sixth day of my teaching practice at RVVHSS was productive and engaging. I felt more confident in handling the class and managing the students.I used charts and real-life examples to help students grasp the concept better. Many of them responded positively, and I encouraged peer discussions to increase participation.
2) The seventh day of my teaching practice at RVVHSS was quite encouraging. I am becoming more familiar with the classroom environment and the individual learning needs of my students.
3) The eighth day of my teaching practice at RVVHSS went smoothly and was quite fulfilling.I also conducted a quick recap of the previous lesson at the beginning, which helped students recall important points. Their participation was much better than before, and I could see some improvement in their confidence while answering questions.
4) On the ninth day of my teaching practice,I am continuing to build better classroom management skills. A few students were initially distracted, but with a calm approach and by giving them responsibilities, they became more attentive. I’m also learning to balance the time between explanation, interaction, and conclusion.
5) Today marked the 10th day of my teaching practice at RVVHSS, and I can feel a noticeable growth in my confidence and classroom presence.
I’m also becoming more aware of how to handle individual differences among students. I paid extra attention to the slower learners and tried to clarify their doubts patiently after the class.

  The Valedictory function of the College Union and Arts Club❤️, titled Valedictory 2K25, was organized by Enentus at Ramavilasom Training College, Valakom, Kollam, on April 24, 2025, at the Valsalamma Memorial Hall.A valedictory function is a formal closing ceremony held to mark the end of an event, program, or academic session. It serves as a moment of reflection and celebration, where achievements are acknowledged, experiences are shared, and participants are appreciated. The function typically includes speeches by dignitaries, feedback from attendees, certificate distribution, and cultural performances. It provides an opportunity to express gratitude, build lasting memories, and inspire continued growth and success beyond the event or program.

ENGLISH ASSOCIATION INAUGURATION

  English Association Inauguration Ceremony @RVTC, Valakom was held on 16th October. The English Association Inauguration Ceremony at our college was a vibrant and intellectually enriching event that marked the beginning of a new academic year for the Department of English. The ceremony commenced with a warm welcome and the traditional lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the dispelling of ignorance and the pursuit of knowledge. The Principal delivered an inspiring presidential address, followed by the inaugural speech the logo presentation was done by her, after the formal inaugural session there held an interactive game session by our English department students  .
