Fourth Week of Teaching Practice

This week marked the continuation of my teaching practice, and I noticed a growing sense of confidence in both my classroom management and lesson delivery. By now, I had developed a better rapport with my students, which made lessons more interactive and engaging.
     I prepared lesson plans with more emphasis on activity-based learning and student participation.
Incorporated visual aids, group activities, and short quizzes to check understanding.Paid attention to pacing so that I could complete lessons within the allotted time without rushing.
              The fourth week reinforced the importance of preparation, adaptability, and building a friendly learning environment. I feel more in control of the classroom and more connected to my students, which motivates me to keep improving in the coming weeks.

FIELD TRIP

  The field trip to Kanyakumari was an enriching and memorable experience for all the students, offering a perfect blend of education and exploration. Known as the southernmost tip of mainland India, Kanyakumari captivated us with its stunning natural beauty, cultural significance, and historical landmarks. We visited iconic sites such as the Vivekananda Rock Memorial, Thiruvalluvar Statue, and the confluence of the three seas—Bay of Bengal, Arabian Sea, and Indian Ocean. The trip provided valuable insights into geography, history, and local traditions, while also strengthening the bond among students through shared experiences. It was not just a journey of learning but also one of inspiration and discovery.

ENGLISH ASSOCIATION INAUGURATION

  English Association Inauguration Ceremony @RVTC, Valakom was held on 16th October. The English Association Inauguration Ceremony at our college was a vibrant and intellectually enriching event that marked the beginning of a new academic year for the Department of English. The ceremony commenced with a warm welcome and the traditional lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the dispelling of ignorance and the pursuit of knowledge. The Principal delivered an inspiring presidential address, followed by the inaugural speech the logo presentation was done by her, after the formal inaugural session there held an interactive game session by our English department students  .
