Third Week of Teaching Practice

Image
The third week of my teaching practice at RVVHSS marked a significant shift in my development as a prospective teacher. As I continued my journey in the classroom, I gradually became more comfortable with my responsibilities and confident in managing both the subject content and the students. This week was not only about delivering lessons, but also about building relationships, experimenting with classroom techniques, and reflecting deeply on my own teaching methods. One of the most noticeable changes this week was the improvement in classroom management. By now, I had learned most of the students’ names and had developed a good rapport with them. This familiarity helped me in handling the classroom more effectively. I began implementing techniques I had read about in Jim Scrivener’s Classroom Management Techniques, such as giving clear, simple instructions and using body language and eye contact to maintain attention. I also made a conscious effort to use positive reinforcement, prai...

1) The sixth day of my teaching practice at RVVHSS was productive and engaging. I felt more confident in handling the class and managing the students.I used charts and real-life examples to help students grasp the concept better. Many of them responded positively, and I encouraged peer discussions to increase participation. 2) The seventh day of my teaching practice at RVVHSS was quite encouraging. I am becoming more familiar with the classroom environment and the individual learning needs of my students. 3) The eighth day of my teaching practice at RVVHSS went smoothly and was quite fulfilling.I also conducted a quick recap of the previous lesson at the beginning, which helped students recall important points. Their participation was much better than before, and I could see some improvement in their confidence while answering questions. 4) On the ninth day of my teaching practice,I am continuing to build better classroom management skill...

Day 5 Teaching Practice

The fifth day of teaching practice coincided with an educational strike, which affected the normal functioning of the school. Most of the classes were not held as usual, and there was minimal academic activity. We remained at the school until noon and then left as instructed. Although the day was brief, it provided an opportunity to observe how schools manage unexpected disruptions and maintain order during such events.

Day 4 Teaching Practice

On the fourth day of my teaching practice, I felt more confident and organized in managing the classroom and delivering the lesson. I had prepared a well-structured lesson plan in advance, which helped me stay focused and maintain a good flow throughout the session. The topic for the day was introduced using relevant examples and visuals, which caught the students’ attention. I encouraged student participation through questioning and short interactive activities, which helped assess their understanding in real-time. Their responses showed a better grasp of the concepts compared to previous days.

Day 3 Of Teaching Practice

With more familiarity in the classroom environment, there was a noticeable improvement in confidence while handling the students. The lesson for the day was well-prepared, and the students responded positively to the interactive activities introduced during the session. Classroom management was more effective compared to the previous days, as students started to show more cooperation and interest in the subject. The use of visual aids helped in maintaining attention and increasing understanding of the topic. However, a few students still required extra support, which reminded me of the importance of differentiation in teaching.

Day 2- Teaching Practice

My second day of teaching practice was filled with excitement and curiosity. With the initial nervousness of the first day behind me, I felt slightly more confident standing before the students. I had a better understanding of the classroom environment, the students' behavior, and the school routine. Today, I was more prepared with my lesson plan. I began the class by revising the previous day's topic briefly to reinforce their understanding. The students responded well, which gave me a sense of accomplishment. I used visual aids and simple examples to explain the topic, which seemed to capture their attention better.

FIRST PHASE OF TEACHING

My first day as a trainee teacher was a memorable and eye-opening experience. I entered the school with mixed emotions, a little nervous, yet excited about finally stepping into the teaching profession. After a short orientation with the school staff, I was introduced to the class I would be handling. It was a group of enthusiastic and energetic students. I began the day by introducing myself and tried to create a friendly and open atmosphere. Some students looked curious, some shy, but most of them welcomed me with cheerful smiles. My mentor teacher was supportive and gave me the chance to assist in classroom management and activities. Overall it was a great experience and I am looking forward to improve and do better everyday.
